Helpful Training Tweets from Our Fall Conference

If you didn’t attend our annual conference in September, you had a second chance to catch some quick training tips on Twitter. However, many of you haven’t yet lifted off into the Twitterverse so you have yet another chance here to see more than 26 quick training tips and thoughts (less than 140 characters each) that were tweeted by The Bob Pike Group or others attending the conference.

  • The difference between review and revisit? A review is what a trainer does. A revisit is when the participant goes over info — more effective for retention.

  • Norfolk Naval Shipyard is a Pike's Peak Award winner. They wanted to implement interactive training but couldn't do all at once so they took three topics in each workshop and re-worked them as 3 activities. In other words, they took baby steps.
