Free Bob Pike Group Resources on the Web

The Bob Pike Group has a lot of free resources available to you, and we want to make sure you know about all of them.

Using the free resources available to us via the internet, we have multiple ways we are connecting with learners.

Facebook: We have a business page on facebook which we update on an at-least weekly basis. Sometimes it’s just an inspirational quote regarding training or why we do what we do, sometimes it’s an activity you can use in class right away. To get us into your facebook newsfeed, click here and “like” us. Our facebook page also has an RSS feed to our articles on our website providing additional great resources for you.

Twitter: Yes, good things really can come from Twitter. For one thing, it ensures our experts providing information don’t get too wordy! We use Twitter to post training tips, quotes, and links to good research/videos/articles. Occasionally we tweet updated information about events. Our Twitter usernames and Twitter websites are:

http://twitter.com/senebo

https://twitter.com/BeckyPluth

http://twitter.com/bobpikectt

http://twitter.com/TheBobPikeGroup

We will be promoting the use of Twitter to exchange information and great training tips from our fall conference.

If you haven’t explored Twitter and have no idea where to start, here’s an article we ran awhile back to help you get started (really, there’s no need to pay geeks $50 to set up your social media account!).

YouTube: Okay, it took us awhile, but we’re gaining steam on YouTube. So much of our information can be shared in byte-size pieces (yes, pun intended)! Perhaps you have seen the rope trick but can’t remember the secret? Or you’re new to training and need a few pointers on what not-to-do as you’re presenting? Go here to see our quick conference commercial. At the top of that page, you’ll see a section where you can subscribe to our videos. You will also see a tab where you can see what we have already uploaded, including a lot of training tips and some promos of conference sessions.

Bob’s blog: Once a week, Bob Pike posts a blog, usually commentary on current events that have a training application. He has a few posted so far. You can even subscribe to an RSS feed and have them delivered directly to your email or blog reader. To see a current list of Bob’s blogs, click here.

Our website: as a reader of this ezine, you know we have a lot of information we share monthly. Did you also know all of this information is archived on our website? Yup. To look at our articles, you can click here. And our homepage usually lists any special deals we have going on, like buy one registration to a public workshop, get 30% off your next workshop…
