Sailing the Five Cs

Last year, Doug McCallum took the challenge upon himself to create at least one activity for each letter of the alphabet. While a few may have been stretched a tad, he was successful! Here is his activity for the letter "C" which goes along well with challenging assumptions.

Hand out a 3x5 card to each participant. On that card, each person should anonymously write their five favorite Cs: color, car, cuisine, country, and celebrity. Then all of the cards are collected. The trainer can then read them one by one as the entire group tries to guess which card belongs to whom. The underlying application of the activity is that we make assumptions about people--and many of them are wrong!
