Inspire Your Learners: Meaningful Continuing Education
November 28, 2011By Liz Wheeler

If you are looking for practical continuing education to inspire your learners and reignite your passion for training, consider getting certified as a Master Participant Centered Trainer.

Many trainers who experience our workshops are amazed at how quickly the two or three days go by and by how much information they can easily recall from the training. Getting certified as an MPCT translates into you becoming proficient in these techniques and creating this enjoyable training atmosphere for your learners.

The MPCT process is an extensive learning journey that allows you to create and execute training that fully implements participant-centered techniques using knowledge you've gained through BPG workshops and conferences. You'll work with one of our BPG Master Trainers and select a sponsor who will audit part of your course to verify your application and master of participant-centered techniques.

"This certification is not a meaningless piece of paper that says you answered multiple-guess questions correctly," said Becky Pluth, vice president of training and development at The Bob Pike Group. "We've designed this to be an effective means of continuing education for trainers who really want to effectively design and deliver content in an interactive and memorable way. With this program, we strive to provide the tools and mentoring to help trainers succeed as well as the accountability needed to ensure the validity of the certification."

The certification not only adds to classroom effectiveness, but also to a trainer's credibility, Pluth said. "And the certificate candidates have access to one of our BPG Master Trainers who are truly world-class. To have one-on-one discussions and with his or her BPG Master Trainer and glean from that huge store of knowledge and experience is a huge benefit of this program," she added.

This is the only Master Trainer certification of its kind in the United States training industry. For more information on the program and its requirements, click here.
