Dream Big: What if? ... Why not?
By Bob Pike CSP, CPAE

What would you like to accomplish in your role this year if money is no object, and there are no limitations?

Just dream a little. Would you hire additional training staff to help with the backlog of tasks? Would you update your presentation technologies to really grab your audience and help the trainer stay interested in the same ol' material by using new gadgets? Would you revamp some of the new-hire onboarding sessions so they aren't so dreaded, dry and intense?

Why not dream big? Think "What if…?" and then think "Why not?" Why couldn't it happen? Anything is possible if you know how to go about doing it.

With participant-centered training-where the focus is on the participants learning, not the instructor lecturing- you can decrease training time, increase retention, and eliminate trainer boredom because each session is different.

The theme for our 17th annual training and performance improvement conference is about you dreaming big and us showing you how to make those dreams reality. We'll not just show you how to make your training sessions more fun and your information more memorable, we'll involve you while we do it. You'll perhaps experience what you thought was impossible-an enjoyable day in the training room with high levels of content recall.

When you implement these same methods, training classes will become anticipated events rather than dreaded requirements. And you'll get results faster, better and easier back on the job. Join us and discover the wonder of achieving the impossible!

Experience the power of an amazing alternative to lecture-based training at our 17th annual training and performance improvement conference.

We are introducing 26 new concurrent sessions this year. These sessions are designed to lead you through the creative process of transforming your training from lecture to interaction, no matter your training background, design process, or experience. As Bob Pike has said before, there is no dull training, just dull presenters!

Join us as we inspire you to stretch beyond what you think possible, believe what you do matters, and strive to be your best.
