Cultural Training Beneficial in Global Economy

Gadgets Make for Ruder Workplace

More than 1400 CIOs responded to a survey by Robert Half to see if they felt technology has increased "breaches in workplace etiquette. More than half of them said yes. Only 42 percent of those surveyed said more mobile gadgets in the office had not affected workforce etiquette whatsoever. For the computerworld story, click here.

 

Training Tech Trends in 2010

Forrester Analyst Claire Schooley, in this blogpost, takes a look at a few trends you should watch for this year in Learning and Development. Increased user-generated youtube-type videos make the list along with more formal webinars and podcasts and mobile learning. She also says don't expect new hires in training just yet, and provide a good search engine so employees can find the resources they need. The complete post is here.
