Blanchard Named as Conference Keynoter for 2008

Ken Blanchard, best-selling co-author of The One Minute Manager and The One Minute Apology, will be kicking off the 15th Annual Training and Performance Solutions Conference to be held in Minneapolis in 2008. His participation was announced during the closing ceremonies of this year’s conference.

“It's exciting to have Ken and the Ken Blanchard Companies be a part of our 2008 conference on many levels,” said Bob Pike, chairman and founder of The Bob Pike Group. ”First, Ken and I have been friends for more than 20 years. Because of that, I have seen his commitment to the same values that we have at The Bob Pike Group— especially adding value and making a difference. Second, his unique storytelling ability makes him one of the best keynote speakers I have ever heard. Third, his commitment to challenging and equipping people to lead at a higher level—to serve and support rather than be served—is exactly what we need to be doing in our organizations if we are to reach our highest potential.”

Having the Ken Blanchard Companies be a part of next year’s conference is the first announcement of the exciting events being planned for next year. The conference will be held in Minneapolis September 29 through October 3, 2008.
Concurrent workshops will cover e-Learning; Openers, Closers and Energizers; Leadership Skills; Participant-Centered Webinars; Presentation Skills and more.

Reserve the dates! Participants who register before January 15 will also receive a $300 discount and a The Bob Pike Group fleece jacket. To get on the conference mailing list, call BPG at 800-383-9210 or fill out our online brochure request form. Registering now also makes sense for getting the most out of your 2007 budget.
