As I continue to update and add content to The Bob Pike Group's new site I am finding it difficult to figure out what topics are most useful for you to read about, so I am asking you to fill out a short form and tell me what topics you would like to see posted on our site as resources for you. How did attending a Research-based Creative Teaching Strategies workshop change this participant's training modus operandi?
Each year, The Bob Pike Group accepts nominations for trainers, their departments or companies who have made a commitment to participant-centered training and achieved dramatic results. The winners of this award, up to six different entities may win, receive one free registration for our annual conference and up to three half-price registrations for the year they accept the award. The winners are then recognized during a special luncheon during the annual conference.

The nomination deadline is August 9, 2010. Details are below Because you can't see your learners during a webinar, you need to utilize other methods of gauging learner energy and motivation. While polling is a great and speedy way for the presenter to "see" what is going on with participants, it can also be overused if you don't switch up the ways in which you poll your participants.
